This hand forged steel curb bit has fixed cheeks. The mouthpiece has a low port. One cheek is stamped "London" and the other "Leatherby" Leatherby & Blyth were a company ofharness makers and saddlers with premises at Park Lane and Lisle Street during the 19th Century. The bit has its original (rusted) curb hooks and a replacement curb chain.
