An Eldonian Jointed Loose Ring Snaffle or Overcheck Bit - Bit1012

This very fine snaffle or check bit is made of  steel.

The bit was hand forged.
The mouthpiece is jointed.

 The loose bit rings are small. One is stamped "Eldonian England"

Dimensions : Mouthpiece 5" (12.5cm), bit ring diameter 2¼" (6cm)
Weight : 65g (2¼oz)
