This long gents whip has a staghorn or antler hook shaped handle with a raised "gatepusher" section.
It has a silver collar with crisply cast foliate decoration. This is hallmarked Birmingham 1894 and stamped with the silversmith's mark "BM" There is a shield with an engraved monogram (? S.I.H.) on the other side of the collar
The stock or shaft is made of golden brown malacca cane.
It has a leather stitched keeper or tongue at its end.
