This is a pair of very fine spurs. They are much slimmer and lighter than most examples (please see image showing comparison)
The spurs have steel studs and buckles on the end of each arm
They have short necks with bulbous ends.
They are silver plated, the plating is la little pitted in a few places.
The spurs are stamped "Merry & Co" inside the heel band. Merry & Co were a company of saddlers based at 4, St James St., Piccadilly from the late 19th to the early 20th Century
