Antique Hand Forged Heavy Iron Horseshoe #02

This is a very heavy hand forged iron horseshoe.

The shoe is quite flat and it has a toe clip at the front.

There are seven nail holes

The shoe probably dates from the 18th or 19th century, although it is not easy to be accurate about the age of a blacksmith made shoe.

Dimensions : 6¾" (17cm) wide, 7" (17.5cm) front-to-back.
Weight 2lb 13oz (1.28kg)
