This stirrup is made of iron. It has a convex rectangular footplate or tread with a small "foot" on each corner The curved triangular sides of the stirrup have koftgari inlaid gold coloured wire decoration and many applied silver dots. The shaped suspension loop also has wire decoration, but this has worn with use.
