This 19th century heavy steel curb bit has fixed curved cheeks.
The cheeks have fixed integral curb hooks. The mouthpiece has a medium height port which holds a ridged roller or coscoquero with a disc on each side. One cheek is stamped "Sowter & Co" and the other is stamped "Haymarket". . It is in good condition with a dark patina
