This is a first edition of this book, published by Brockhampton Press in 1970. It has blue cloth boards and an illustrated dust jacket. Inside there is a dedication signed by the author, who seems to have been aboard RMS Andes ( a Royal Mail ship turned cruise ship) at the time.
It has many illustrations by Geoffrey Whittam. and its chapters include Stable Management, Lameness, Injuries, Skin Diseases, Internal Diseases, Wind and Eye, Teeth, and Breeding
