This is a very good quality tan coloured leather case .
Its fine stitching is very good and all the buckles and straps are in good order. The lid closes with a buckle.
There are a few small stains on the lid
The case is lined in doeskin or chamois which is in good clean condition.
Inside there is a double hinged plated sandwich tin. The tin is in good condition but there is a little rubbing around its lower corners, inside it stamped with a trumpet and banner symbol and "James Dixon & sons., Sheffield, 916S". There is also a rectangular flask with a bayonet or captured cap. The cap is stamped with a trumpet & banner on one side and "JD &S" on the other.
