Large Jointed Snaffle Bit by Harries of Shrewsbury - Bit1022

This vintage jointed snaffle bit is made of a nickel alloy.

It has flat loose rings.
One ring of the bit is stamped

"Harries
Shrewsbury"

G.D.Harries & Sons were saddlers and harness makers with a shop on Shrewsbury High Street in the early 20th Century

There is some wear to the joints - please look at the images.
