This is a slim book issued by the National Pony Society. It has green cloth boards, it does not have a dust jacket. It has sections about the National Pony Society, and a chapter on reasons to buy a native pony by Golden Gorse ( an author active in the 1930s which possibly dates the book)
There are 32 photographs of native ponies, the front picture is of the late Princess Margaret with a Fell pony
