A pair spur made of a white metal, most likely Alpacca (a nickel alloy). The arms of both spurs end in round rings. On each spur one side has two buttons hanging from this ring and the other has a hinged buckle and a button.
On the inside of the heel band part of a stamp remains - it reads "67" on one spur and "6.." on the other.
The outer surfaces of the spurs are decorated with a sort of feather pattern on both sides. There is a small heelplate with a decorated edge and holes for the attachment of chains. The necks of the spurs are also decorated and curve downwards. The star-shaped rowels are steel.
Internal width 8.2cm (approx 3¼"), neck 4.5cm (1¾"), rowel 3.1cm (1¼")
