This is a matched pair of spurs made of bronze or another copper alloy with dark patination. Both sides of both spurs have finely cast decoration. Their necks have the characteristic tulip shape of Peruvian spurs They have steel fourteen pointed rowels The rowels turn freely. Each arm of the heel band ends in a decorated oval slot for straps. There are no maker's marks or stamps
