This is a matched pair of spurs made of silver coloured metal. Both sides of both spurs have finely cast decoration in a feather pattern. Their necks have the characteristic tulip shape of Peruvian spurs They have large steel sixteen pointed rowels The rowels turn freely. Each arm of the heel band ends in a decorated oval slot for straps.
The old leather straps have embroidered decoration. Their buckles are decorated in the same pattern as the spurs and the straps have long pointed silver metal fittings on their ends. There are no maker's marks or stamps
