These round brass or bronze stirrups come from India They have a central "rib" with feather pattern decoration.
The outer surfaces are decorated in Bidri work, a black background made of a layer of an oxidised zinc-copper alloy decorated with delicate inlaid vines and flowers. The decoration is worn & chipped in places - please see the images.
