These are slender steel spurs with extensions would fit into the heel of a boot.
The necks are curved in a swan or goose shape.
The sharp multi-pointed rowels still turn . One spoke of one rowel is broken.
They are much finer and lighter than more modern box spurs - please look at the image of one spur compared to a 1901 silver box spur.
They have a dark aged patina and a little tarnishing which could be burnished off
There are no maker's marks or stamps
Internal width 6cm (approx 2¼"), neck 3cm (1¼"), rowel 1.2cm (½")
Weight : 65g (2¼oz)
