This is a matched pair of large spurs made of silver plated iron or steel. Their necks have the characteristic tulip shape of Peruvian spurs They have large steel twenty six pointed rowels The rowels turn freely. Each arm of the heel band ends in a rectangular slot for straps.
The old leather straps have lines of embroidered decoration. The embroidery has frayed in places There are no maker's marks or stamps
