Pair of Leather Boot Jockey Lifts or Slides - Jockey013

These are unusual leather versions of the curved metal plates help one's leg to slide into close fitting riding boots

They are made of two layers of tan leather or pigskin curved around a central metal strip.

There is very fine stitching arounf the edge of one half of each slide

The other half of each is open so that it can fit over the top edge of the boot.

They are in good condition, there are no maker's stamps
