These spurs are made of solid nickel. Each arm has a plated steel button or stud at its end. A hinged buckle hangs from the outer button of each spur. One of these is stamped "Patent..." the number is illegible. The inside of one spur is stamped "Solid...".it probably was originally stamped "Solid Nickel". The spurs have medium length straight necks. The many pointed steel rowels still turn.
