These large circular stirrups are made of five layers of dark brown leather sandwiched together. They have a pierced decoration surrounded by copper nails. They have their original stirrup leathers or straps. There are no maker's marks or stamps.
In his 2001 book "El Estribo" Roberto M. Devincenzi describes this type of stirrup as a "Surero" fromthe province of Buenos Aires
