A pair of dark steel South American spurs with a russet patina. Each spur has a large fifteen pointed rowel and a pierced neck. They have very small circular heel plates.
The heel bands have simple cast decoration. Their ends are diamond shaped, each has two slots for spur straps There are no maker's marks or stamps.
A previous owner has decorated each upper strap with coins from Brazil, Chile, Italy and Canada. Most of these coins date from the early 1920's, One of the straps is broken
