This whip is covered in silver. The handle has cast arabesque decoration and the shaft a spiral pattern. The handle has channel which would have held a wrist chain, it unscrews to reveal a blade. It has a finely braided leather or rawhide lash or thong, it is bent in a couple of places and has lost its end.
