This whip has silver handle with niello decoration It has a ball shaped top.
There is a hole near the top which would have held a wrist chain or strap Its shaft is covered in finely braided leather or rawhide and is finished with a rawhide flap.
There is a bound rawhide repair halfway along the shaft
