Silver Plated Hunting Whip Toast Rack

This is an mid 20th Century piece.

It is a toast rack (but could be used as a letter rack.

The handle is a horseshoe surrounded by two fox brushes

There are six sections, the sides are in the form of hunting whips with thongs.

The feet are cast as fox masks

The underside is stamped - possibly for James Dixon & Sons

Measurements  : 12cm (4¾") wide x 16.5cm (6½") tall x 21cm (8¼") deep

Weight  : 474g (1lb ¾oz)

Unfortunately the new GSPR regulations do not allow this item to be shipped to the EU or Northern Ireland
