It probably dates from the late 19th or early 20th Century. It is decorated on each side with a cast relief mask of an indigenous warrior with a feather headress.
The underside is stamped with a D pierced by an arrow and surrounded by a star and the words "Metal Pratead...", so it was probably originally silver plated
