A tan coloured leather case, there are a few marks and nicks on the leather but overall it has a lovely patina.
The closing strap, belt loop and shoulder strap are original.
It is lined in cream doeskin and has an internal partition (the doeskin is a little loose around the top of the partition.
Inside there is a glass flask, with a plated bayonet or captured cap. The cap is stamped "Swaine & Adeney Ltd., Made in England".
There is a small "nibble" to the glass neck within the metal collar.
There is also a double hinged silver plated sandwich tin, stamped on the inside "Swaine & Adeney Ltd., London".
In Swaine's 1933 catalogue these cost 9 pounds and 9 shillings - depending on which index used that would be around £1800 today .
