Vintage 32ft 6" (9.9m) Braided Rawhide Lasso or Reata

This is an early 20th Century braided rawhide rope. It would have been used by a gaucho or vaquero/

It has a metal ring at one end and a loop secured with a braided rawhide button at the other end.

The rope is strong and flexible, the rawhide "buttonhole is rather stiff
