Vintage James Dixon Sandwich Tin in Leather Case - Sandwich161
Vintage James Dixon Sandwich Tin in Leather Case - Sandwich161
This is an antique rectangular leather case which closes with a buckle.
It is lined in doeskin or chamois.
Its stitching is very good.
The buckles and straps which would attach to the D-rings of the saddle show some wear, but they are still useable. They could be replaced in future.
Inside there is a double hinged plated sandwich tin.
This is stamped inside with a trumpet and banner and "James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield, 16M" The tin is in good condition, although there are a few small dents and some rubbing to the plating on its outside.
Dimensions of case 6⅛" (15.2cm) wide x 3½" (9cm) tall x 1½" (4cm) deep
Weight: 1lb 3½oz (550g)
Unfortunately the new GSPR regulations do not allow this item to be shipped to the EU or Northern Ireland
