A mahogany coloured leather case, originally for a sandwich tin and small flask. The surface of the leather on the lid has a "crackled" finish (see images) but it is flexible and there are no splits or cracks. The saddle straps are in good condition. There is a D ring for the girth strap The case closes with a billet fastening. It is lined in doeskin, there is an interior partition.
It would have once held a sandwich tin and small flask, but could be used for a phone, money, chocolate...
