This is a small mid 20th Century saddle. It has a pigskin seat. The saddle is lined with cream coloured serge, there is a small tear in the lining. This fabric is harder to keep clean than leather linings, such saddles are therefore not used today and this is more of a decorative piece. It has steel safety stirrup bars, each is stamped "Pony Club Approved"
