This whip or crop is covered in dark tan braided leather. On its cap it has a silver coloured (probably nickel) button The whip ends in an open leather keeper or loop. This is embossed "Fibroflex" and "Fibreglass, Made in England, Brit.Pat. No.s 728380, 737585"
Fibroflex whips and crops first seem to be recorded in "Whips by Craftsmen" published by Moss, Stone & Co in Walsall in 1940
