Vintage Malacca Hunting Whip with Thong - w1863

This whip has a staghorn handle with a raised "gatepusher" section.
It has a silver coloured (probably nickel) collar. There are a few small dents in the collar
The stock or shaft is made of golden brown malacca cane, with its characteristic "teardrop" shaped cross-section.
It has a replacement stitched leather keeper or tongue at its end and a good new thong with red cord lash.
