Vintage Swaine & Adeney Riding Whip or Crop - w1735

This whip or crop dates from the mid 20th Century,

The grip is covered in dark brown leather.

There is a braided thread cap and collar.
On its cap it has a dented silver button that is stamped "Swaine Adeney Brigg, London" and "Sabson Centre".

Sabson was a trademarked synthetic flexible material used for whip cores .

The flexible tapering shaft is covered in cream coloured braided thread
The whip ends in a broad stitched leather keeper.
