Vintage Wire Cutters in Leather Saddle Case

This is a good quality brown leather case.

The stitching is very good .
The case closes with a brass billet fastening.

Straps for the D-ring and girth of the saddle  would pass through two keepers on the back of the case. The girth strap is still present

Inside there is a pair of steel wire cutters or nips stamped "...gland" (Probably Made in England).
