It has an antler or staghorn handle and a silver coloured collar stamped "Zair" and "Made in England". G & J Zair were whip makers based in Birmingham until 1965
The shaft or stock is covered in dark brown braided leather. The whip has its original stitched keeper in bridle leather.
There is an extended area of binding above the keeper - possibly an old repair
It has a braided leather thong with a blue cord lash.
